Review 1: I am Anil working as Manager-Training in Wipro Tech. Bangalore, India.I have read your book named "ATM Concepts and Protocols" and I would like to congratulate you and co-author Pankaj for such a nice book. Believe me I am so impressed that I want to use some topic (some part of Chapter 7(Signaling) and 8 (Addressing and Routing)) of your Book in my online Training. What do I have to do to do the same?

Review 2: I have been referring your book ATM Networks for a very long time. I found it very impressive. I wish to know whether both of you have come up with a book on SONET/SDH.

Review 3: I am a final year student doing my B.E. (Elec. & Comm.) from Delhi College of Engg. (India) as part of my final year project, I am implementing the code for the design of hybrid ATM switching. I recently purchased your book on ATM networks and found it to be quite worthwhile in clearing my concepts. Congratulations for writing such a useful book. The presentation is nice and it feels like someone is really sitting close and teaching the subject!! Otherwise my experience with other networking books has not always been the same.

Review 4: The book does not make any assumption about prior knowledge of readers networking concepts. First two chapters are dedicated to general terms and technologies in networking. Authors have done good job of explaining ATM concepts and protocol stack in next two chapters. Chapters on switching and signaling have been explained in good details. A case study presented on switching is very helpful in understudying ATM switching. General information in Network Management is very good. Practical examples of deployment are not explained very well. Some time book starts explaining concepts, useful but not relevant to this section. Quality of Service, which is one of the major topics, has been flooded with formulas and actual implementations like weighed random early detect/ Queues have not been dealt at all. The book needs to provide more information about IP over ATM.Target audience is not very clear. As any topic taken is explained verbose before the actual protocol is explained. If the target audience is someone who doesn't know networking they won't be trying to learn ATM and if one is trying to learn ATM the details are far higher than expected.
